2010 Gold Glove - Tyler Boxwell

For the second year in a row, Tyler led the varsity team with his .990 fielding percentage, as well as having the most total chances with 198, and logging a team-best 160 putouts.  Tyler also recorded the second-most assists on the season with 36.  The most impressive stat on the field for Tyler however, was the 26 runners he threw out attempting to steal.  His .578 caught-stealing percentage not only set the school record, but should stand for quite some time.  Tyler's presence behind the plate made a huge difference in the base-running decisions of the opposing teams, making him our 2010 Gold Glove recipient.
